An amazing movie to a point, it was incredible for the first 2 hours and thirty minutes(minus some dodgey writing at times) but then it just got SAPPY!! Sentimental film making when the film is really good is the sign of a big ego and an even bigger budget.... remember "Dead Alive" or "Meet the Feebles" Peter Jackson when you made fun movies that didn`t border anywhere near Hollywoodism!!! You`re smarter than that.

I have never seen such an amazing movie that leaves u speechless at the end, you dont even notice how long it is, it`s that good!!! it`s amazing!! the emotion shown in kong`s eyes during scenes were so amazingly done that you could just tell what he was thinking at that exact moment, and this movie brings out so much emotion and is so well done that the film acually makes you weep for kong, very sad ending (in a good way) and an overall fantastic movie that is a major jaw-dropper, this film has every element that a superb film should have! GO SEE THIS, IT`S NOT CHEESY WHAT SO EVER, YOU WILL THINK KONG IS REAL, AMAZING ACTING,

King Kong is the best film of 2005. Peter Jackson has re-invented Kong in a way in which we will never forget. The effects were astounding, breathtaking, and the best I have seen in a film since The Lord of the Rings. Peter Jackson has taken us through an emotional and heartbreaking story of the true beauty and the beast. You will laugh, you will cry, and it will have an everlasting effect on you. The actors did an amazing job and Naomi Watts is at her best. Peter Jackson is the best filmmaker of our time and has created a glorious masterpiece.
