  One of the weaknesses of the original was the racist treatment of the natives on Skull Island. This new version doesn`t do anything to remedy that. Someone should tell Peter Jackson he`s dealing with human beings and not orcs. Dopey acting and weak dialogue makes this a silly, forgetable movie.

  This was the most amazing movie i`ve seen. Peter Jackson did an incredible job at making the characters alive. The creepy people, that took Anne captive and tried to giver her to Kong, were SO kewl! I was scared so bad, but it was amazing how well they ressembled the orcs in the LOTR movies. You could see Peter`s touch there. Kong was so well portrayed, it was amazing how well his feelings came out in this movie. If I were Peter Jackson, I would feel satisfied thatI would be able to come out with a brilliant trilogy such as the LOTR and King Kong, in such little time. This was an AMAZING movie, GO SEE IT!

  It was good at the beginning then it was soooooo boring and it was too long!

  Even though the movie was quite long, it went by really fast and was awesome. Its a great romantic movie...i want a king kong for myself

  I thought that the movie was way too long. It should have been about an hour shorter. Special effects were great, but some parts (the island inhabitants & a few of the other creatures) were extremely scary. Definitely not a movie for children, I even had to look away in parts. A take it or leave it type of movie - and I should have left it.
