  A waist of money, talent and special effects. If you re hoping Harry will dazel you with his wit, magic powers, charm or anything else for that matter, DON T BOTHER. The talents of his supporting cast are much more impressive than his, whereas he s more lucky than skillfull. The movie is too long for the events in it. It seems that the sequence of events has been stretched to fill the 2 and 1/2 hrs. Last but not least, the title... The Philosophers stone? and the stone they seek is better described as the Alchemist stone.. heck even call it what it is, the Elixir.. but it has nothing to do with philosophy.. That is for sure.   I thin the Harry Potter movie was fantastic that that if the academy is smart it should sweep the oscars.
