Harry Potter was an extremely entertaining fantasy film, and brilliantly acted considering the age and experience of the children playing in it. It is primarily a movie for children, and as such should not be overanalyzed for its poignancy or Hollywood influences. To those who commented that they were bored during the film, that s perfectly understandable seeing as they lack the suspension of belief necessary to enjoy this film or the books.

I thought that the movie was a bit too long. There was no action or conflict before 2 hours into the movie. I was very dissapointed that I didn t go see Monsters Inc. instead!...
