I saw the movie tonight, i really liked it but it would have been extraordinary if they sticked to the climax in the book..i didnt like it how they really skipped some of the parts in the movie...i know it was a long one and it would have been longer if they included every part...but for money s worth...it still counts...Overall, good movie, hope The Chamber of Secrets is exciting as well!

On a scale form 1-10, 10 being the best, 15. Thogh, they missed alot of parts, and hyped us up for a less magical story. For the book, scale of 1-10, 48674.

My family and I enjoyed the movie. However, I personally preferred the book. The movie was very Hollywood....too much glitz and too fast-paced. The book was an absolutely outstanding piece of imagination that took me to places that Hollywood never could.

Damned if you do. Damned if you don t. He re my problem with HP&Phil-stone. I know the book too well, thus I m fully aware of the films shortcomings, campared to the magnificent book. What would you do as script editor? You ve got a multitude of characters, situations and personalities that all somehow have to be squeezed into the story. I wonder what the film would have been like if it was based upon the theme of the first book? Perhaps if they kept to the main characters and their interactions, it would have been more cinematic than cold revision of the book, like some text version. For example, Snape & Quirrel hardly get a lo

Starting in a modern day setting surprised me. The curiosity got the better of me. The movie had a great series of twist and turns, though some mysteries were predictably solved. Overall a great family movie.
