Don't go after the low ratings from previous reviews. The only reason is because part one is more story then action. Part 2 is when everything goes into action. There was too much stuff going on in the book to make it all one movie and this was the bare minimum of what they could have had to be honest and it's long enough. Some of the dialogue from the book was cut too to make it shorter (2 1/2 hours). You could watch part 2 when it comes out instead of this one but there are some character deaths and scenes you might want to watch from this movie to fully understand what happened. It's got some action and a bunch of little funny parts in it. I'd reccommend seeing it but if your not much of

Excellent film, but EXTREMELY dark. Reconsider bringing young children - in the showing I saw, several groups left the theatre in tears partway through.

My fave since the prizoner of azkaban! very true to the book and focused alot on the trio and their relationships. Ron stood out especially, made me fall in love with him:) Great storytelling, cannot wait for the next!!

I'm a big HP fan so my opinion will probably be cast aside as obvious but this movie was awesome!! absolutely loved it, and that's saying something because I hated the last one and was dreading this one but Yates impressed! Only disappointing thing was that it ended.

Yeah, it was a little slow at some points but I guess maybe it was supposed to be like that to show that the travelling did actually take months if you think about it.
