This was a great movie, especially for part one. I'm glad they did not try to fit the last book into one movie because, although it may have been action packed from beginning to end, it would have left out so much of the book. Harry Potter fans should relish the anticipation of the next movie. Who wouldn't want to drag it out just a little while? This movie was entertaining throughout.

It was definitely well done - but a lot of plot build up for the last movie. Having read the books, I know what's to come, and felt that this movie ended up being a lot more about the characters rather than where the movie was ending up. That being said, it was very well done (even knowing a snake was coming didn't help me in Bathilda's house!), and makes you want to see the next - hopefully they will have this either released, or back in theatres for a back to back showing!

The first part of the final chapter lives up to the expectation set by the previous film, with lots of details retained from the book to keep long-time fans satisfied, plus some good suspenseful action moments for the general viewing audience. There were two parts in the film which in my opinion could have been done better. First off, there were several scenes which felt a bit melodramatic. Emotions ran wild, and this sometimes got a bit too much to take fully seriously. Second, half of the movie involves Harry and Hermione camping in the boons. Not much happens for long stretches at a time, and while this is obviously meant to convey the feeling of isolation and despair for their seemi

This movie was really well done - Ralph Finnes is absolutely sinister ;) Very dark - not something I'd be taking a child to though!

As a fan of the books I was disappointed to find there were huge chunks of what I felt relevant information missing. Perhaps they will catch us up in the next movie movie? Overall it was a typical Harry Potter Movie but lacked the satisfying conclusion.
