To date, this movie has to been the closest to the book. I enjoyed watching this movie and wasn't disappointed about scenes being left out. I am greatly anticipating the release of part 2. It's too bad that the directors didn't do the extended versions like in LOTR.

I loved the movie. I can't wait for part 2. They made the right decision to make it in two parts. So much of the last book would have been lost trying to do it as a single movie.

After reading the book 4 times, which I think may have been a mistake, I thought the movie was good but I could pick out parts that were actually changed in the movie.

I lived & breathed the Harry Potter books, all except for The Deathly Hallows. I found it slow, meandering, without purpose. It had a direction but not much else. My hope for the film was it would give me the same "immersed in their world" feeling that the first six books brought out, the same feeling that the seventh book lacked. This film did exactly that. Where the book fell flat, the characters in the film breathed life into the conclusion of a fantastic story. Now I can't wait for part 2!

I didn't know what to expect, i have liked all the movies in this series so far however this was my favorite. They stuck to most things in the book without leaving too much out. My only complaint was that I have to wait to see the second part, I would have gladly watched the second part immediately after this one.

I thought this was too short. I think it was an excellent adaption of the book allowing for enough of the "flavour" of the book to show through but at a steadier pace.
