The Secret Disco Revolution Synopsis

Long misunderstood, the disco era was once dismissed as a time of hedonistic excess. Now, historians are arguing that the era was in fact an important time of protest: liberating gays, blacks and women.

The movie includes revealing new interviews with the era's biggest stars: The Village People, Gloria Gaynor, Kool and the Gang along with a goldmine of rarely seen stock footage.
