National Theatre Live: No Man's Land Synopsis

On one summer night, two ageing writers - Hirst and Spooner - meet in a local English pub. As one drink turns into several, the men retreat to Hirst's nearby home and continue consuming beverages. But as each man grows increasingly inebriated, and the stories they share become increasingly unbelievable, the jovial tone quickly turns sour and a power struggle breaks out. Tensions are doubly heightened as two sinister young men return home.
