Loved Rey, the storyline, visual effects and the fact that all the questions from the first movies are answered.

A million times better than the previous two, on edge of your seat the entire time completely invested! I LOVED this movie! I wanted to turn around an re-watch right away I couldn't even put into words everything, I felt was just on an adrenaline rush.

Having watched all 9 films on the first day of release, I have a different perspective on the films than those born after 1977. "Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker" was enjoyable, but some parts were too over the top thanks to the ego of Jar Jar Abrams who is still under the impression that a thin plot can be hidden under SFX.

Amazing movie THAT EXPLAINS EVERYTHING!!! It explains who Rey is and why she has so much power despite her parents being nobody. It explains how Leia saved herself in Episode XIII. It (somewhat) explains why Rey and Kylo Ren are connected in the force. THIS IS A MUST SEE FOR ALL STAR WARS FANS! (btw don't read this next part unless you want SPOILERS!!!!!!!!!!!!! if you didn't see Rey & Ben coming from episode XII then you are blind.

Better than expected. I would like to thank the people with negative reviews because I went in with low expectations. Wonderfull end to the Star Wars sage, one of the best Star Wars movies.

Considering the trainwreck Johnson left Abrams after episode 8...Abrams did the best he could. There should have been WAY MORE Palpatine than the 6 minutes we get! Luke Skywalker should NOT be dead still pisses me off from last movie. Loved the Leia scenes and wished there could have been more but obviously that couldn't have happened. LOVED the one scene with Han Solo! Why J.J. did you have to incorporate a lesbian kiss at the end during celebration? It's because of nonsense like this the original 3 will never be surpassed. When you go to that galaxy far far away you leave reality you escape current life which is what a movie is suppose to be all about. We as the audience don't need to be hammered down with these social justice aspects of current society the movie then becomes less of an escape!!!

Let me say first and foremost the original characters in the first 3 stars wars were united like they were actual family and it showed in all 3 movies. Even though the special effects weren't as go then as they are now the story lines made up for it. This movie was ok and I enjoyed it. They tried to put a whole lot of storyline packed in a 2 and a half hour movie and if you never saw a star wars you would definitely been confused. It was worth the money to see the ending.

What got me about this film is that the whole team of actors were not playing on the same Star Wars cultural plane making it disjointed and incongruent. The dialogue bounced around from Star Wars period speak to modern day culture and attitude. It didn’t fit the movie. The great CGI effects were over shadowed by poor character betrayal. Wait for this movie to go into the cheap theaters or on NetFlix.
