It was very funny. Johnny Depp did am outstanding job. He kept me laughing all thru the movie. The horse, Silver, was well trained and funny. I walked out of movie feeling very good. I recommend all ages to go and see it.

When the funniest line in the movie is the last one spoken, you have to wonder what you did for the previous 150 minutes. Johnny Depp's portrayal of a questionably sane Tonto was entertaining, but it wasn't enough to make the movie successful. The one-liners that were shot out like rounds from a gattling gun were lost in the overpowering sound track. Any type of logical continuity was butchered in the editing. Arnie Hammer is a bit weak in his title role and although his character's relationship with Depp's Tonto offered many opportunities for well-written humour, it too often fell short, leaving gratuitous violence and nonsense to fill the void.

Having been a Lone Ranger fan back in 50's and loved every minute of it, I thought this movie was great Johnny Depp stole the show as Tonto a very funny tongue-in-cheek western. Very entertaining.

I don't understand why they had Tonto wear a dead crow on his head and war paint. The Native Americans did none of that. That's really the only problem I have with it though...
