It was to be based on biblical accounts. There was nothing about this movie that was biblical (other t han the name noah and an arc)

I was very disappointed in this movie - a waste of my hard earned money! They make you think it is going to be a Biblical account of Noah. But it was NOT! They could have made this a wonderful movie if they had not tried to rewrite what God had done. If they had just stuck to the Biblical Story they could have had a home run. The worst thing is that if you have never read the Biblical account of Noah you will walk away thinking that Noah was a maniac, God created Stone creatures and list goes on.... Why didn't they just call it "Keith" or some other name because it certainly has nothing to do with Noah from the Bible. I am a Christian and proud of it. THIS WAS A VERY DISAPPOINTING MOVIE!

This was not a bad movie by any stretch. Yes there were some things that did not make much sense, but the special effects were very good and the acting was superb. There was obviously some liberties taken with the story line, but it is advertised as being "inspired" by the Bible. It is worth every penny to go see it and be totally entertained.

Found movie long, boring and special effects were terrible. Russel Crowe's acting was good which it should be but I think they spent their whole budget on his pay and skipped budget for effects.

The only thing even Biblical about this movie is that the lead character's name is Noah and that he built an ARC. The rest of the movie is sci fi nonsense! God made his Angels into rock people who "watch" the earth against humans!! I am disappointed that Russell Crowe and Anthony Hopkins would choose to be in this weird movie.
