    Moonlight

An Oscar worthy movie? Not. There's nothing outstanding in it. Dialog is ordinary. Story is dumb. Visually it's dark all the way through. There are no costumes. Music is not good. Acting is ordinary. Overall it's dull. I kept waiting for something interesting to happen and it never did. Bleh.

    The Death of Robin Hood

Monday, June 22, 2026 9:40:53 AM | (Age Not Specified)

Not surprised about the low turnout at the box office. The title is off putting, and no one wants to see cheater Hugh Jackman in anything. His box office value has dropped. I hope the sex is good for him. His wife is devastated, probably his children too. The vows say Till death do us part. A man who can't keep a vow isn't a man of value. Good luck with him mistress. You have found a disloyal man.

    Masters of the Universe

This is a waste of time and... we'll... I was going to say talent but there isn't any. Just skip it.

    Wild Mountain Thyme

It reminds me of my huge Irish family- the stories, the sense of humor, the strong women, and all the love!

    Leviticus

Great movie. May not be top of the box office now, but in years to come, it will be a classic. Same thing happened with The Shining. Look how that turned out.

    Obsession

The main man reminds me of a fence post sitter who couldn't make a decision if his life depended on it.

    Disclosure Day

Crazy if you like crazy. Couldn't understand what the hell was going on half the time.

    Obsession

Sunday, June 21, 2026 4:36:57 PM | (Age Not Specified)

Well-acted but only intermittently entertaining, Obsession suffers from a draggy first half before it gathers momentum towards its relatively predictable ending. Its kinda disappointing when the audience figures out where the movie is going long before its main characters do. And the intrusive synthesizer soundtrack is a distraction -- tone it down already.

    Moonlight

Gayness doesn't float my boat. There should be a clear warning this is about me in love with each other. I would have skipped it.

    Moonlight

An Oscar winner? Not. It was choppy. The appearance of the actor growing up didn't keep with his features at all. The guy as an adolescent didn't even look like he was still an American. And they didn't finish the story. The guy turned drug dealer after hating that his mom was an addict doesn't fit. He hooks up with the guy who has a healthy way of life and all they do is have sex? He could have taught him how to cook or something else that would be healing for his life. I feel cheated.
