  Fantastic documentary. The only bad part is that if you're a Hip fan through and through, you might not be able to view it through those tears you're miserably failing to choke back.

  So if you happen to score this documentary low you should consider throwing on your hockey jersey and heading down to pub and tell everyone openly you dislike it. With that said I’m sure a good Canadian boy will take that jersey and pull it over your head and lay the knuckles to you.

  Great documentary of a great Canadian rock band led by a great poet, lyricist, rock star and Canadian man, who was taken from this world far too soon. R.I.P., Gord Downie.

  It doesn't matter if you love "The Hip" or not this movie delivers on its own. The quintessential Canadian rock band is endearing for much more than just their music. The brotherhood of the band mates, the family that is their crew and the unique origins of the The Tragically Hip are an intriguing story on their own. When you then factor in the courage of Downie's final tour, the insecurity of his brothers in arms and the finality and anomaly that the Man Machine Poem tour is in the world of rock and roll you get an amazing story that is worthy of being told. Brilliant imagery over the Hip's performances and a journey across the country inspire. And well, yeah, BRAIN CANCER! This movie will stand the test of time and beautifully tells the story of five of Canada's most beloved artists. Five Star!
