Didn't like it. Movie was too long and took too long to get to the point. Cut off 30-40 minutes and it might be a better movie. Did like the guy's acting in the movie but not the women. Should've had a better writer.

All I can say about all of the bad reviews is you must be to young to have seen this movie, I saw it on the 2nd day it was out and i loved it and I am going again today. As for Amy Adams I think she turned herself into a notable sex symbol, you and I are just used to seeing here in roles like the night at the museum 2. And after the awards show last night proves that a lot of other people saw the same movie I did.

I left the movie theatre in a nauseous state, it had been too long of time looking at the bad hair day every actor in this movie was having, except for the main actor which had been having an ongoing bad rug day throughout the entire span of the movie. Llewellyn Davis is a much better movie

A waste of great actors. The story is badly written. The direction is extremely clumsy. Use of phrases not in use at the time of the incident. My wife and I were ready to leave after five minutes but kept hoping, with all that talent, that things would improve. Jennifer Lawrence was good but I cringed every time Amy Adams put on the English accent. Poor Bradley Cooper and Amy, they must have wondered what was going on. And the women did not have the plunging necklines at that time. And also badly photographed. We should have asked for our money back.

It lacked pace action or any sense of character beyond the one dimension people we are shown as phony as the only amusing thing in it ; the wig in the first scene. There is no sense of tension or a decent story line. The type of people have been much better acted in other movies such as French Connection. Bale is appalling as a sleazeball. De Niro is no in it as a gredit not to create surprise but because he knew it was a poor movie. So bad I fell asleep. Think of a Pinter play set in the Bronx. They hyped it up but it is dire.
