Fantasic. Anyone that likes a great story; with action, twists and turns will totally love this movie. Makes you think during and after the movie. Powerful. Great si-fi, action, drama and a thriller all in one. Not predictable.

I too was one of the people who wasn't interested in this movie at all, but I go to the movies almost every weekend and thought I'd give it a chance seeing that there's nothing else worth-while out there. But as soon as the film started, I was intrigued. It looks like a documentary and I even forgot that the aliens were computerized. Then I slowly realized how I was holding on to every moment. I'd recommend this movie to anyone - it's worth the watch. I loved it and I'm so glad I had a great movie to watch this weekend.

I'd Have to say, District 9 is the most compelling sci fi movie i've ever watched, i dont think there is another film where u feel so much for another species and the understanding of what they musy be going through, way to go again Peter Jackson

There is nothing unique about this movie, the infection thing has been done to death. The movie would have done better as a mini series to allow for more character development, which was non-existent. I have to admit the special effects were first rate, but the movie as a whole is a failure.

It was quite a disturbingly good movie. Disturbing because of the gory scenes and how explicit the alien experiments were shown. It really drew a connection with the real world; first thing it made me think of was the holocaus. It brought out messages that many movies don't. Such as how human curiosity, paranoia, or fear can turn even the "best people" into monsters. It made me feel how stepping in another person's shoe and maybe living a day in their lives can change our point of views. Overall it was definitely worth watch and really a great movie.

Best movie I've seen in about 10 years. Psychologically, a very engaging movie with a microscope into human behavior and the wickedness we're capable of. Not a boring, shoot em up movie, but a riveting, stirring piece that keeps you glued to your seat. Excellent.

A very well made movie. I really cared about the characters. The subject matter was a little disturbing however...
