I thought it was a moving drama. It had some humour, some soul-wretching sadness and in the end some hope for the future. Penelope Cruz demonstrated a broad range of emotion in her role as a mother, daughter, sister, and friend. You catch a glimpse of her life and admire her character`s strength and perseverence no matter what obstacles come her way.

An awesome movie - beautifully directed. Penelope Cruz handled the role so well and she is not my favourite actress. She really showed great talent in this! An intelligent movie - with great plot twists and sensitivly done character development. Subtle humour ... will see it again.

Pedro Aldomovar is a one-of-a-kind director and he brought out the best in Penelope Cruz. She is not only great in this movie, but also absolutely gorgeous! Terrific plot twist....well-worth the money.

You need a remote and a mute button fot this movie - don`t waste your time. It`s the most boring Almodovar ever.
