I cannot believe this movie has a rating of up to 5 stars which is why I unfortunately went to see it. What a load of crap, screaming women who eventually thought themselves Rambo types. To think Steve Tilley rated the thing 4 starts. He should be shot.

I found this movie pretty good, but it started off better and more suspenseful at the beginning, and weakened near the end. Overall it was alright..I think it could have been done better.

Wow! what tempers those monsters have. A good adventure, horror movie if you are not faint of heart. Good summer fun. Go with someone whose hand you want to hold.

Like most horror movies .. the trailer is always better than the movie. The Descent is just another movie that is low budget and trying to score big. If you have extra 11 dollars, buy yourself 8 cheese burger and gain a lot of fat. This movie is worse than gaining fat

This was a very well done movie. Genuinely scary, with believable strong characters who you`d actually see in real life. Even the concept of the creatures were somewhat believeable. I was quite impressed and will get it on video.

My girlfriend Amanda said: "We watched Hostel, The Hills Have Eyes, Silent Hill, See no evil, and The Omen but The Descent is the only one that left me shaking. I can`t just use the word `scary` to describe this movie."
