The special effects and the message the movie gets across are truly commendable. The plot could have been developed further. I give it a 10 for originality and quality of film making. A pleasure to watch. I would recommend it to everyone. It is money and time well spent and you will get your entertainments' worth.

It was spell binding and must win an award. There was endless action, love story and then they brought you back to reality and why there was a story. I will see it again.

Avatar absolutely took my breath away. From the very first sequences (aboard the military ships), the acting was excellent and the visuals were stunning. Actually, stunning doesn't even come close to describing the world James Cameron created in this movie. It was so easy to lose myself in the alternate world; everything seemed so absolutely real and it was almost a jolt to come back to "reality" when the human sequences resumed. It was so beautiful that I was jealous of the young man that got to stay in that world forever. The ending was superb. Please don't make a sequel - this is a one-of-a-kind movie that stands alone.

The tech is good. But it is a FurnGully remake, some of the lines are word for word.
