  This movie had the potential of being the new 2001: A Space Odyssey. Instead, we are served needless action just for the sake of action and violence for the sake of violence. While most of the film is perfectly logic and coherent, it sours because at least 3 specific scenes introduce situations and characters behavior that is simply needlessly violent and overdramatized for the sake of trying to please that part of the audience in need of another Armageddon style flic.

  Slow start, slow middle and mediocre finish. It was a boring movie. Almost walked out. Save your money.
