  This was, hands down, the most entertaining movie that I've seen in a VERY long time! Is it filled with naughty humor? YES! THAT'S WHY IT'S RATED R!!! If you bring your kids or grandchildren to this, that's on you, because you didn't notice that it is RATED R. I noticed, and that's why my wife and I went to it. We both laughed at all the adult humor. BECAUSE WE'RE ADULTS! Would I bring my grandchild to this movie? NO! (Because I'm an intelligent adult)

  They lost their chance to make some money on this film, because if they had kept it clean it could have appealed to the masses. I am SO SICK of the filthy language I hear these days spread to the younger generations. The film curses and has sexual innuendos through its entirety. I cringe to think that idiotic parents will take their younger children along to this movie. How did we get to this point in our beautiful language?

  How many ways can you say awful. I took my grandson and we left well before the end of the movie. A waste of money. There was a family with young children sitting behind us and they were right into it swearing and whatever else. They should never had been let into the theatre. This movie should have been R18.

  I was expecting to see a move on the line of "A DOGS PURPOSE" but what a disappointment. The previews did not show the rating of this movie which should have been XXXXX RATED . THE COMPLETE MOVIE WAS STUPID.. NO PLOT

  Ferrel's career must be in the dumpster. That is the only explanation for his participation in this film. The special effects provide the best talking dog illusion ever. The dialogue makes this movie impossible to sit through. The situations are unimaginative and predictable. The voice performances are some of the worst I've ever heard. Some of my friends are giving 5 star reviews out of anger, trying to suck other trusting people to waste their time and money on this loser. The actual rating is 1 star, only because there is no 0 or1/2 star to choose. There are no laughs in this movie except for the Dennis Quaid cameo where his bird watcher diary has every species listed as "bird."

  Why do all movies have to push Hip Hop into every movie. Too much. My ears were bleeding.
