Love this movie so damn much. Very cool to see someone replicating the grindhouse vibe.

KILLBILL HORROR TARANTINO STYLE. It’s a solid movie with great action and some fun sequences. I actually liked it more than Ready or Not 2: Here I Come but I’ll probably end up giving TWKY the same rating. Both movies are unique enough that even though TWKY has some similarities to it the film differentiates itself and stands on its own just fine. The movie kicks off immediately and spares no minute in its short runtime. Zazie Beetz plays a fun action heroine! Her look was iconic in this too. Asia is a fun new horror action icon and I’m totally here for it. Could be a fun Halloween costume this year too. There were tons of Tarantino references. Unfortunately, I thought the references just shed light on the fact that this film doesn’t really compare to his work. Oh the fight scenes were 100% Kill Bill coded with the over the top blood sprays and quick cuts and all and I'd even say some sound effects they used reminded me of Kill Bill.

This movie was really surprisingly good. It was a short 90-minute flick and used all that time for non-stop go, go, go. It was funny, violent, and gory. Definitely worth a check out if you are looking to satisfy those guilty pleasures.
