  Better then first film but like William Shatner better as Kirk. Think poor choice for Chekov but really liked Spock and Scotty in this film. Main villain a huge twist not expecting.

  except for killing off a future charactor or pre-series if you followed the original Star treak tv show's. Other then leaving that mysterously leaving us old fans woondering. IT WAS A GREAT MOVIE & I DO HOPE NOT THE LAST! THEY SHOULD CONTINUE! FANTASTIC ACTING & SPECIAL EFFECTS

  An instant classic. Pun intended. Nice play on movie number 2 of the original franchise, with enough for people who have not seen the original series. The visuals, obviously, are much much better. Well done!
