Wow, such harsh negative reviews! Maybe it hit a nerve? I'm giving an extra star for that!
I quite enjoyed the romp through Amsterdam. I agree with the 5-star review below, and how marriages can become dull if we don't work at it. And Marriage takes a lot of work, sacrifice, forgiveness and communication. I thought it was a realistic portrayal of a long lasting marriage - ups, downs, distance, intimacy, brokenness, resentments, unresolved issues, all while putting up a good front. I think the end was awesome - he finally opened up and shared his heart, which was absolutely endearing and hope-filled, and probably life-saving for the Marriage.
