The premise was ok. I get the message of the Earth being destroyed by us. I get that George's character was basically ahead of his time and luckily found a planet in time for a wicked huge space ship to be built and manned by what a couple of people????? just in time to explore that new planet and try to make it back to Earth. I have more questions than answers. I liked the twist and I figured it out earlier than the reveal but it was still nice. I think this was George's first time using this much CGI which was pretty good. (Maybe he decided on sci-fi project after being in Gravity? Anyway, it was good, just could have been better. It was a slow burn but felt...empty at the end. And soooo many questions.

I can't say this was a great movie but it was okay. The little girl in this movie was an unbelievable actress! She was so adorable and I would like to see more of her in movie roles. It did not have much of a story line and no real explanantion but George Clooney was good as always. He played an old man dying in this movie and it starts out slow but it eventually picks up the pace. We saw this movie on Netflix. I guess it was directed by George himself.
