The is one great story. I am not saying that the period films we had been getting lately were bad, but this was one refreshing story. The problem I had was not with the movie itself, but with the theatre, for some reason, the turned the lights about halfway right after the intermission, and then they did not turn them of, so that was the only problem I had. Otherwise great movie. Great story, acting music, awesome cinematography. Emotional scenes were well handled by the director, they were not to heavy, but not to light either. Punjabi cinema also got another great actor, Rajiv Thakur. Up until now, he was only known as a comedian, but in this film, he played a character who was deeply sad inside, but drill stayed happy and tried to keep others happy, while also successfully letting the audience know how sad he actually is. Neeru Bajwa and Surgan 's characters also have their own problems, and they play their characters so well, that you can actually feel for them. As for Jimmy, he is the Aamir Khan of punjabi cinema, always perfect in his roles. Overall the director handled a serious topic with a nice lighthearted touch, that every person, especially the ones who live away from their loved ones should enjoy. One more thing, there is one scene, in which the word Fuddu is said a couple of times, but it makes the scene that much more great.
