    Very well done history of Quakers in America from writings of the time. Beautiful cinematography and great acting. A must see.

    What an interesting subject for a movie! The Shakers got brief mention in history as a sect that vanished because they abstained from sex. The movie uses their songs with coordinated dance in a provocative manner making it a musical biography. The actors, costumes, and scenery work well together. Go see it.
