The Wizard of the Kremlin Synopsis

Former television producer Vadim Baranov (Paul Dano) becomes a key political strategist inside the Kremlin during the rise of modern Russia under Vladimir Putin (Jude Law). As he is pulled deeper into the world of power, he helps craft propaganda, shape media narratives and manage the public image of the regime.

Navigating corruption, ambition and shifting loyalties, Baranov grows increasingly entangled in the machinery of state control. As Putin consolidates authority, Baranov is forced to confront the moral cost of manipulation, witnessing how political strategy can reshape reality and silence opposition while blurring the line between truth and control.
