John Osborne's 1957 modern classic is reborn through the eyes of Rob Ashford and the Branagh Theatre Live. Set in desolate post-war Britain and starring Kenneth Branagh as the seminal Archie Rice, this iconic adaptation exposes the decaying glamour of old music halls in order to examine the truth behind public fronts, private unrest and the declining British empire.
