  I thought this film has real flashes of cinematic brilliance for what seems to be a lower budgeted film. A job well done by this new directing duo and of course Emile Hirsch and Bruce Dern turn in grounding performances. The most impressive creative performance comes from the newcomer Lexy Kolker. Lipovsky and Stein have shown their ability to balance great technical filmmaking with a sensitive approach toward their actors reminiscent of early Spielberg films. I look forward to seeing more from this directing team!
