Gorgeous, well written and performed. One of the best Marvel movies, ever!

Blade was an awesome trilogy. Luke Cage has an edgy feel that draws you in. This has the feel of a convention of out of shape men in suits talking about their products while being half in the bag.

The truth in the superhero world is that at some point, you identify with the hero and believe that in some sense it could be you. The fantasy of a superhero is to be able to boldly stand up, make your voice heard and withstand the assault. This movie leads you to believe you could be an accountant.

I wondered how the newest Avenger character would translate to a starring role. It didn't. Support role at best. The person cast for the role is too stiff and doesn't lead you to believe.

My kids came home and watched Captain America afterwards. They honestly turned and said this is how a superheros movie should be. They were not happy with the latest marvel offering.

If you appreciate craftsmanship like Gone With The Wind, Lord of the Rings, or even the first Matrix, you will find this movie tiresome. It tries to pontificate, then persuade, and eventually gives way to lecturing, but it never entertains. I want to go out for an evening and have a good time and be entertained. This was a waste of my time, money, and effort. The popcorn, though good, was not sufficient in compensating for the defects of the movie.

Comcast owns the movie companies and also bought out Rotten Tomatoes. Don't trust that site for reviews any longer as well.

This movie wishes it were as good as Green Lantern. But alas the concept, the directing, the acting and two and a half hours of blah, blah, blah, make this insufferable. The five star spam bot never speaks of details or gives you insight it just post the same crap on every review. Check the other movies. This site is manipulated by a spam program designed to trick paying customers. Especially, look at coming attractions. Movies that are not even out yet have hundreds of 5 star reviews.

Don't go. It's weak and not worth the money. Wait for Netflix.

This was so not good on so many levels. It was a horrid stereotype for the culture. Living in caves, spears, loin cloth like garb... yet it's side by side with alien level technology...that is kept hidden so they can still get financial assistance. Wow... Section 8, welfare fraud at it's finest. This movie was slooowww and never really gained any momentum. It was about 45 minutes too long. I'm an aging comic fan and didn't see much of the the comic story or character in this version.
