  Storyline isn't as strong and heartstring-pulling as the original movie. Still has it's cute and funny moments but can be quite cheesy at times. Kids will love the cute (and not scary) "monsters".

  A great sequel in my opinion. It brought a great understanding to the character's personalities, and how they work. It was also a great way to incorporate the current pressures, life morales, etc that we face today and how to deal with them. It was funny, touching, and thoughtful. A great sequel that doesn't leave a sour taste in your mouth like how some sequels usually do.
