Are we living in a simulation? How do we know what is real? Is there a larger entity controlling us?
This mind-bending documentary explores the world as if we were to take the red pill.
People have had these questions on their mind since the release of The Matrix (1999). Although The Matrix played with the idea of simulation theory, in A Glitch in the Matrix we delve deep into the theory and its philosophies.
While referring to Philip K. Dick's speech in 1977 about the matter, filmmaker Rodney Asher also explores every possibility, idea, and point of view by including interviews from both experts and amateurs alike, and connecting pop culture to science, as he aims to discern whether or not simulation theory is science fiction, or the truth.
