Nina, a kindergarten teacher, discovers a five-year-old child in her class who has a prodigious gift for poetry and she decides to take it upon herself to nurture him.
She coaches him while the other children are napping. She starts to steal his poems and reads them in her adult poetry class, passing them off as her own. Her teacher is impressed by Nina's sudden improvement and finally starts to take notice of her.
Nina can't decide whether to admit that Yoav is actually the author of the beautiful, meaningful poems, or protect him and his talent from the world.
