Mystify: Michael Hutchence Synopsis

Michael Hutchence was a world-famous performer and singer in the '80s and '90s who had a magnetism and charisma that both beguiled and dazzled. The band he led, INXS, was one of the very few Australian stadium bands to enjoy international stardom. But at the height of his powers, Michael's life faltered and he died prematurely at the age of 37. Incorporating history-making performances and personal footage, video outtakes and commercial archive, along with intimate interviews, MYSTIFY Michael Hutchence portrays a young man's life journey from the beginnings of his fractured family background, up to the peaks of rock stardom, down to the depths of the desperately depressed person he became after a violent accident.
