T2 Trainspotting Synopsis
The follow-up to 1996's cult classic Trainspotting, Danny Boyle's long-awaited sequel takes place 20 years after the events of the first film as Renton (Ewan McGregor) returns to Scotland to make amends with Spud (Ewen Bremner) and Sick Boy (Jonny Lee Miller). However, the trio must also avoid the psychopathic Begbie (Robert Carlyle), who has just been released from prison.
