After a while away, we're back and better than ever with an evening of celebrating film and giving back to our community. Brown Sugar Productions, with the help of Strike Inspo Studios, presents the world premiere of Dead Butterflies: Between Friends and A Work in Progress.
A Work in Progress is a five part interview mini series that follows different individuals as they tackle identity, relationships, familial pressure, miscommunication, the will to make it and just how hard it is to be in your 20s in the digital age.
Dead Butterflies: Between Friends is a film about the moments in life that are difficult to navigate, but necessary to solve. It's a film about relationships, perspective and most importantly -- decisions.
In typical BSP fashion, we can't just plainly show the movies -- we have to show the movies and stand firm with what we believe in. It is for this reason that all proceeds from ticket sales will be donated to Youth Without Shelter: a youth shelter focused on servicing youth in need through emergency housing and acting as a referral agency. Donate what you can and come see a movie.
The Tentative Agenda for the evening:
7pm - Doors
7:30 - A Work In Progress
8:30 - Intermission
8:45 - Dead Butterflies: Between Friends
9:15 - Q&A
