Exploring many of the mysteries about Canadian artist Tom Thomson's life and death, when on July 8, 1917, he paddled across Canoe Lake and disappeared. His body was found floating in the lake eight days later but the cause of his death has never been determined.
The movie features intimate views of over 130 Thomson paintings, rare archive recordings of people who knew Thomson and fascinating new information about the mystery surrounding his death.
Based in part on "Northern Light: The Enduring Mystery of Tom Thomson and the Woman Who Loved Him" by Roy MacGregor.
